last night was uneventful.

Listened to The Rock's newest video release The Game Plan while reading a really awful romance novel. I have a thing for the pirate rogue and this did not have my favorite type of character. It was SOOOOOO bad that I wanted to put it away, put I kept hoping for some nicely written sex scenes. However, they just repeated the same ones over and over. Really? - do I care that the her fingernails were tingly? Four times?????

Instead, I was bored to tears by the man who loves his wife in the bedroom but doesn't acknowledge her during the day. If the author threw in some Bible verses it would make more sense to have that many morals within a pink cover.

Tingly fingernails?

Is she sure it's not fungus?

Moooooog36 and Ted - EXACTLY! If I read smut, I want it to be worthwhile. I need a rich fantasy life. :P

The novel also used "her toes curled". wtf??? I'd rather hear she got a leg cramp. At least that would show they were doing it correctly. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

I seem to get a Charley Horse at most inopportune times. I wonder if I've ever made a womans fingernails tingle. It's something to shoot for.

Someone should have ripped her fingernails off!

Scott - You could leave a comment/suggestion card on the nightstand. :P

Joeprah - Being a sahd, you've never considered the romance novel for easy lit? You should have a challenge to prove a sahd can handle the life of a sahm. Spit out some scrapbook pages, watch Maury, and read some chick lit while watching the chicas. (just kidding to the sahm's out there - yes I know you do much more than those things.)

pp - seriously I agree. And there was no biting. What good is a smut book without biting?
